- Qualifying Period: 5 continuous years under Skilled Worker, Tier 2, Global Talent, Innovator, or Spouse routes; or 10 continuous years of lawful residence under any combination of visas.
- Continuous Residence & Absences: No more than 180 days outside the UK in any rolling 12-month period.
- Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK (KoLL): Passing the official Life in the UK test and holding certified CEFR Level B1 English.
- Suitability & Good Character: Clean criminal record, no outstanding litigation, and no tax discrepancies with HMRC.
